Moogoo celebrates summer!

We have invited our friend and DJ Lalla Safia so that the dancing can start again in Gwinnerstraße.

Our friend Marine, who loves the Tuareg culture, will present her project inadan art and her silver jewelry and handicrafts from Niger.

We show the works of Christophe Sawadogo and you can also browse through our collection.

Our friend Majid Boudalfa will be providing refreshments with his Moroccan cooking skills and will also show and demonstrate his self-made instruments.

Our neighbor Michael will also be opening the workshop of his Mohr carpentry shop that day and will be happy to present his work and creations.

We look forward to celebrating with you!

July 27, 2024 from 4 p.m.

DJ Lalla Safia

Lalla Safia already played on Moogoo's dance floor last winter and impressed us all very much.

From Afro to Arabic rhythms, her tracklist is already set and she has promised us that she will make us dance again with joy and good humor!

inadan art

During a stay of several months in 2020 in Agadez and the surrounding Aïr region in northern Niger, Marine spent her time with the traditional Tuareg blacksmith and artisan families, also known as Inadan. She developed a deep bond, close cooperation and very close friendships with the Tuareg from the Aïr region.

At Moogoo on July 27th, Marine Tuareg will be showing silver jewelry and handicrafts. Handmade, authentic and fairly traded.

Moroccan salad bar & Gnawa music

This time, our friend Majid Boudalfa wants to spoil us with a Moroccan salad bar. Of course, he will also present his handmade Gimbris & Karkabou, and will certainly demonstrate them.

Schreinerei Mohr

Michael and the Mohr carpentry shop are our direct neighbors in Hall 408. On that day, the doors of the workshop are open and you can discover many creations, some of which are also made through recycling.
