Suzanne Kaboré

Suzanne Kaboré loves transforming old things into new ones. Whether it's old cutlery or bicycle parts: whatever she gets her hands on, everything gets a new life.

She came to her dream job by chance: one day she passed by the Centre Lukaré in Ouagadougou and saw the guys hammering and welding. She asked if she could try it out. They said yes. Even when she asked if she could stay after her first attempts. She was thus the first woman at the Centre Lukaré. Today, designing new upcycling products gives her the greatest joy and she hopes that they will find a new home anywhere in the world.
