Community studio & co-working

Moogoo Creative Africa will be moving to the space next to Hall 408 in the next few months and our current hall will become Moogoo Creative Lab, a shared studio for artists and cultural workers in an exciting listed industrial hall. There are various options for renting space at Moogoo Creative Lab.

Studio spaces are rented and charged per square meter. It is also possible to rent a co-working space for a day, a week or a month. Shelving and storage space is also available.

The rental of the space will begin in the coming months (probably from January 2024). Applications are now possible! See below for more information.

Studio space (150m²)

Freely available work space that can be designed by tenants to create a shared workspace.

  • Rental by square meters (from 10 m²)
  • Ceiling height: 4 to approx. 6 meters
  • Gate width: 2 meters (ground level)
  • High voltage, WLAN

Foyer (40m²)

incl. bar, coffee, toilet, printer, WiFi

Furnished with tables and seating for relaxing, working on the computer, drinking coffee, for bar evenings or other events, for networking with creative neighbors and customers.

Showroom / Gallery (30-70m²)

Tenants can display their own exhibits here. The room can be used in combination with the foyer for your own exhibitions and vernissages.

Office space (20m²)

including kitchenette, WiFi

Can be used as a reception room, for meetings, for making phone calls and working in peace.

  • Mutual help and inspiration

    By working next to and with each other in a shared studio, but also through the creative neighborhood, including with Fritz Deutschland eV and other artists and companies in the immediate vicinity.

  • Store window

    Private and business clients visit us regularly and are guided through the gallery, where tenants can also exhibit objects. Moogoo's events also bring additional visibility.

  • A great evening sun

    Our neighbors can confirm it: At our house bar or in the improvised beer garden, it is very pleasant to enjoy the evening sun with a cool drink.

Rental prices

Studio space can be rented from 10m² (up to 100m²). Prices are calculated based on the exact area.

Example rent for 15 m²: 240€ / month, including additional costs (electricity, water, heating) and coworking costs (use of WiFi, printer, tea kitchen, coffee).

A co-working space can be rented from just €15 per day or €90 per month (including use of WiFi, printer, tea kitchen, coffee).

Rental period

For studio space: Minimum of 3 months, 1 month notice period. Shorter use (project-related) also possible.

We also have storage space, starting from 1m² or for pallets. Further information and prices on request.

Public transport & parking

Public transport: The studio can be reached in 10 minutes on foot from the stop "Gwinnerstr." (U7) and 1 minute from the station "Gelastr." (bus line 44).

Directions / Deliveries : Parking is available on the street free of charge
For deliveries to the studio, parking can be arranged in front of the entrance gate. Parking spaces in the courtyard of the premises can be booked additionally.

Bicycle : There is a great bike path between Gwinnerstr. and the ice rink or Ostpark (just under 10 minutes).

House bar

In addition to the coffee machine, we have a few refrigerators that are filled or can be filled with different things. Tenants and coworkers only pay the solidarity contribution to cover the costs of their drinks. Coffee is free.
