The Moogoo team introduces itself

In addition to our artists and craftsmen , who are Moogoo's most important "resources", we would also like to briefly introduce ourselves.

ELIOTT MARTIN

Founder & CEO

After a four-month road trip through West Africa in 2009, which ended in Burkina Faso, Eliott stayed in Ouagadougou for another six months to take up a position at an agricultural research institute. As a great admirer of modern art and advocate of fair trade approaches to the sustainable development of developing countries, he then founded Moogoo in collaboration with Burkinabe designers. His master's degree with a focus on "Sustainable Development" in Paris gave him theoretical and practical experience in this field.

As managing director of Moogoo, which Eliott founded in Cologne in early 2011, he is responsible for the overall management of the company as well as personal business relationships with Burkinabe and European partners.

He has worked in communications and public relations for companies and NGOs and has been involved in the field of child and youth development in Frankfurt for 15 years.

He has been on board with Eliott since 2014 and represents Moogoo in Burkina Faso: He maintains contact with our partners, craftsmen and designers, he manages our warehouse, looks for new partners and helps develop new products. Evariste does a lot in Ouagadougou.

INES SCHÜTTPELZ

Through her work in the drinking water and wastewater sector in Ouagadougou and surrounding regions, as well as various trips through Burkina Faso and West Africa from 2008 to 2010, Ines got to know and love the people and culture of the Sahel region. Today, she works part-time for Moogoo, which she helped to found, and supports Eliott in particular in the areas of communication and administration.
